After calibration putting my hand near the empty PLASTIC dish the scale would read 5-6gr lighter. Putting the brass calibration weights in the dish also gave the same under readings. I retrieved the ALUMINUM dish from my Balance Beam to accurately measure charges.

I have had the same problem right from the start. I also used the metal dish from my beam scale to solve the problem. I think the solution is to eliminate the plastic from the unit entirely even the load cell tray. $89.00 for a static affected scale is $89.00 too much. Mine is going back to Pact for a better fix.

Here is a little hint that might help, especially is you are working on a floor with a rug. I create a mixture of 50% water and 50% Downey fabric softener then set the spray nozzle to spray a fine mist. A few squirts of this mixture on a rug, in your general work area, and the static is a thing of the past. When the static starts to return, a few more squirts does the job again.
