I am planning on adding a Harris bipod to my contender. The two possible methods are to use a barrel mounting adapter or adding a swivel stud to the Rynite forend. 

Comments, suggestions, and cautions appreciated

I'm using the fore-end swivel stud for my Harris bipod. I reversed the usual mounting scheme so my legs fold forward (towards the muzzle) when stowed, I was trying to get the longest possible stance for additional steadiness. I also would recommend buying the version with the built-in swivel, it is much easier to use versus adjusting the legs to level the gun. Just my $.02.
