...35 REMINGTON LOADS...

Discussion:

from Ralph Whittaker

I have been loading 180 and 158 grain rounds for my .35 Rem and have been very pleased with the results. I would like to find a loading chart for 110g bullets for the Rem. Seems like the light bullet in the 35 would make a nice varmint round. Has anyone ever seen charts that cover the .357 110g bullet for the 35 Rem? I don't have enough loading experience to try working up this round and would rather take advantage of a more experienced persons knowledge.

This caught my interest as I also shoot the 35Rem tough mostly as a hunting round and use other less powder hungry calibers for target/varmint shooting. The 357 Herrett is *almost* identical ballistically to the 35 Rem and many loads are listed for 110, 125... bullets. The Rem has more volume and *usually* uses a higher charge. These loads *should* be safe and I intend to try a few this summer. I'll post any interesting results.
